More Science, Less Fiction about Psychoanalysis
There is a widespread lack of knowledge and misunderstanding about psychoanalysis. This is due to many reasons, amongst which are the relative youth of the discipline, its specific epistemology and the challenges it presents to empirical study.
Due to all the questions received on the subject it seemed that it might be useful to open this section in order to try to clarify the most common ones. We’ll begin with the issues of dependency, sexuality and empirical support which appear to be the most frequent questions, and will expand in function of the demand.
